FE-SeD filter cartridge is made from a special ion-exchange coated 10 micron string yarn, Recommended for pre-treatment of water is designed for the mechanical cleaning of water from sand, dirt, rust, dissolved iron, lead and other heavy metals and has a high purification efficiency and high flow due to a higher filtration surface area. The filter material also has the advantage that it operates at a pH range of 5 to 8 ph. without the need for dissolved oxygen.
FE-SeD Iron filter are designed to provide an easy and effective method of reducing dissolved iron from water, which greatly improves the taste. This cartridge helps to eliminate the orange and brown stains often found in sinks, toilets, tubs and other plumbing fixtures. It also reduces the possibility of damage to pipes and water heaters and reduces up to 5 ppm dissolved iron. It adds no harmful chemicals to the water, making it completely safe for drinking water applications.
The water becomes clear and free of iron deposits, a high purification efficiency and high flow filter cartridge flows with the media enabling it to reduces the problem of rust stains on sinks and toilets and metallic aftertaste. Also, removes the unpleasant odour of rotten eggs.
Filter cartridge can be used with any filtration system that uses 4.5" x 20" filters.
This size makes this filter compatible with many standard systems across varying brands.

It is also recommended to install a 5-micron sediment filter before the cartridge to ensure high cartridge yield.
